The retractable cable is what stands out most in daily use: pull it out to plug in a MacBook or an iPhone, and it winds itself back in once charging is done, so you stop thinking about packing a spare cable. The screen shows exactly what you want to know, how many watts are going to which port, at a glance. Charging a laptop, a tablet and a phone at the same time works without a hitch, power reallocates smoothly whenever a device is plugged or unplugged. The catch is heat: under sustained full-power charging of a demanding laptop, the case gets noticeably hot, and one unit tested shut itself down after 25 minutes at full load. For everyday use, though, no issues were reported.
