One detail worth flagging for US shoppers comparing listings: the American unit ships with foldable prongs that tuck flat against the case, a genuinely useful travel upgrade absent from the fixed-prong version sold in the UK and EU. Size remains the headline feature: barely 140 grams, with heat staying in check even during a long charging session thanks to GaN II. Stacked against the Ugreen Nexode 65W we tested side by side, the Anker keeps an edge on its Quick Charge range (20V versus 12V), though it skips interchangeable international plugs. Thermal behavior stays steady too, with the case settling around 160 °F (71 °C) under sustained full-power use and no drift. Good news for US buyers: unlike the fixed-prong unit sold in the UK, our American unit ships with the folding plug tucked into the case, genuinely handy for a pocket or a laptop bag. The safety margin before the charger cuts out under overcurrent felt a touch tight on our sample. No cable is included and there is only one port, so it charges one device at a time. We replaced three chargers with the single Ugreen Nexode 65W, and it is exactly what you want from a good GaN charger: it disappears into a bag pocket and powers the MacBook, the phone and the earbuds at the same time. On the main port, the laptop charges at full speed, you get back half a MacBook Air's battery in a break, and plugging in a second device is no problem, power is shared without you having to think about it. One real limitation showed up when we pushed all three ports at once: charging briefly cuts out and resumes several times in that specific configuration, worth knowing if that is your everyday use case. We really appreciate the included US/UK/EU plugs: abroad, you leave the country adapter at home, a real space saver, though the swap mechanism itself feels like the one part that could break if you pull a plug off in a hurry. The finish is solid and the case does not get warmer than it should. Two more small caveats: when charging three demanding devices at once, each necessarily gets less than the port's 65W on its own, which is logical, and the USB-A is starting to look a little dated against all-USB-C. For a single, compact, travel-ready charger at this price, the Nexode 65W remains a good pick, just do not expect flawless charging every time you load all three ports at once.

On the desk for a few weeks now, this little Nano 45W stands out mainly for its display: the moment you plug in an iPhone, it shows the recognized model and its charge percentage, genuinely useful for checking progress at a glance without picking up the phone. The 45W output charges an iPhone at full speed and comfortably tops off a MacBook Air on the go. Care Mode, which slows charging near the end of the cycle to protect the battery, is clearly visible on screen through a change in the animation's pace. We use the Ugreen 30W USB-C charger as a second charger, and it does exactly the expected job: fast-charging a phone without hogging the power strip. Its size is contained, barely more than an original iPhone charger, and it disappears into a bag. In practice, an iPhone gets back more than half its battery in half an hour, and it handles a Galaxy or an iPad just as well. The finish is clean, the white case stays understated and does not get warmer than it should. Two small limits to know: it has only one USB-C port, so no charging several devices at once, and it only tops up a laptop, 30W not being enough for a large one. But to fast-charge a phone or a tablet day to day, at this price, it is an excellent no-frills basic, reliable and simple, that we recommend as a spare or travel charger.

In practice, we plug the phone into a USB-C port for fast charging, while earbuds or a smartwatch use the other two ports overnight, no thinking required. The build quality is what we expect from the brand: a matte case that feels good in hand, no noise and no unusual heat even under sustained charging. Two things worth knowing before buying: the 30W total is shared between active ports, so do not expect simultaneous fast charging on all three, and no cable is included in the box. I use this Xiaomi 90W HyperCharge as the single charger on my desk, and it alone replaced two bulkier bricks. On its main USB-C port it charges my laptop at full speed, and when I add the phone and watch, the power splits intelligently without anything heating up abnormally. The body is genuinely compact for 90 W, which makes it perfect to drop into a bag for a trip. PD with PPS support is a real plus for charging recent smartphones efficiently. Two honest caveats: the USB-C cable is not supplied, and you need Xiaomi's official 6 A cable to reach 90 W on a single port, otherwise it caps lower. Nothing blocking, but good to know. To centralize the charging of all your devices without multiplying sockets, it is an excellent choice.

We set the Ugreen Nexode 300W up on a desk shared by two laptops and a smartphone, and the result was immediate: everything charged at once, without slowing anyone down. The main port took a 16-inch MacBook Pro from 0% to over half in half an hour, while a second laptop and a phone kept charging at full speed on the other ports. No more juggling multiple wall sockets behind the desk. The case stays surprisingly cool even with all five ports pulling hard, you can tell the GaN chips are doing their job. The vertical shape saves desk space, but the weight, 29.6 oz (839 g), is a reminder it is built to stay put. The iPhone's Qi2 25W charging is striking for wireless, you get back half the battery in half an hour, at a speed you never had without a cable. After several weeks with this Belkin BoostCharge sitting on the nightstand, it has replaced three different chargers without a second thought. In the morning I plug in my phone, my smartwatch and my earbuds at the same time, and each one charges without me having to think about which port to use. The real highlight is the single 67W port: traveling with just my MacBook Air, one charger is enough, no need to pack the original power brick too. The only real downside is that the unit runs noticeably warm when powering a laptop at full output, nothing alarming but you can feel it's warm to the touch, and there's no cable in the box, so you need to already have one on hand. For the price, easily justified by Belkin's reliability and the versatility of the three ports, this is a very good multi-device charger worth recommending without hesitation.

Out of the box, the Nexode Pro 160W is bigger than a standard charger, but still compact enough to sit on a corner of a desk. The retractable cable is what stands out most in daily use: pull it out to plug in a MacBook or an iPhone, and it winds itself back in once charging is done, so you stop thinking about packing a spare cable. The screen shows exactly what you want to know, how many watts are going to which port, at a glance. Charging a laptop, a tablet and a phone at the same time works without a hitch, power reallocates smoothly whenever a device is plugged or unplugged. The catch is heat: under sustained full-power charging of a demanding laptop, the case gets noticeably hot, and one unit tested shut itself down after 25 minutes at full load. We swapped our drawer charger for the Xtorm 35W GaN2 Ultra, and the size still catches us off guard: barely bigger than a stock iPhone charger, it disappears in the palm of your hand. On the USB-C port, a recent phone picks up a good half of its battery in about thirty minutes, plenty for a coffee break. The USB-A port is handy for a second device, earbuds or an older phone, without juggling two chargers. The white shell is understated and blends into any desk, and it stays reasonably cool even after fully charging a tablet. Two small gripes: with the USB-C port pushed to full Power Delivery, you cannot use the second port at full power at the same time, annoying if you are traveling with limited hotel sockets; and the plug is fixed (EU only), with no interchangeable head. Still, for everyday use at home or in the office, this little GaN2 Ultra charger does exactly what is asked of it, with a genuine sustainability effort (85% recycled plastic) that we appreciate.

No. The USB Power Delivery protocol has the two devices negotiate voltage and current: a phone that accepts 20 watts will draw 20 watts from a 100 watt charger. The only genuine risk comes from uncertified chargers with no regulation and no overvoltage protection.
Almost all modern USB chargers accept 100 to 240 V and 50 to 60 Hz, which makes them usable worldwide. Only the plug shape changes, so a simple mechanical adapter is enough, with no transformer. Check for the 100-240 V marking printed on the casing before you leave.
