Detailed overview: Ugreen 130W USB-C car charger, 100W cable included

The Ugreen 130W car charger is a three-port cigarette-lighter charger built to turn a car's 12V or 24V socket into a genuine fast-charging station. With 130W of total power, it charges up to three devices at once, from a phone to a laptop.

Its layout pairs two USB-C ports with one USB-A port. Used on its own, the first USB-C port delivers up to 100W, enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro or a USB-C ultrabook at full speed on the road. The second USB-C port caps at 30W and the USB-A port at 22.5W, enough to power a phone and a tablet at once without slowing the main port. All three ports support common fast-charging protocols (Power Delivery 3.0, PPS, Quick Charge 3.0 and 4+, SCP), for broad compatibility with iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, and most Android devices.

Unlike many bare cigarette-lighter chargers, this model ships with a braided USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 100W (with a built-in E-Marker chip): there is nothing else to buy to charge a laptop straight out of the box. The compact casing, made of flame-retardant PC material, includes protection against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits, plus a reinforced contact tested for over 3,000 insertions, so it will not work loose on rough roads.

Compatible with almost every 12-24V vehicle (car, van, RV), the Ugreen 130W sits as the mid-tier step of the brand's cigarette-lighter lineup: more complete and more powerful than the two-port 63W sold without a cable, but without the 145W's built-in retractable cable. For anyone who wants to fast-charge several devices, laptop included, without buying a separate cable, it is a well-balanced choice between price and versatility.

Comparison

At $16 to $35, the Ugreen 130W car charger sits in the middle of the brand's own cigarette-lighter lineup, between the 63W and the 145W. Here is how the three compare.

In short, the 130W fills the gap between Ugreen's other two chargers: it more than doubles the 63W's power and adds a third port and an included cable, without the premium of the 145W's built-in retractable cable. For anyone who wants a versatile, ready-to-use car charger without buying a separate cable or paying for the flagship model, the 130W remains the lineup's most balanced choice.

On a long road trip with three of us in the car, this Ugreen charger proved its worth right away: three ports, three phones, no more fighting over the socket. The 100W USB-C port kept a MacBook Air charging for the whole drive without ever slowing down, while the other two ports powered the front and back passengers' phones. The included cable is a real plus, braided and flexible enough that we never had to buy one separately, unlike many cigarette-lighter chargers sold bare. The casing warms up a little when all three ports work hard at once, never worryingly so, and it stays firmly seated in the socket even on rough roads. The one real downside is its size: it sticks out more than a basic car charger, which can be awkward depending on where the socket sits in the cabin. For a family car or work trips with a laptop, it is a solid investment that lives up to the brand's reputation.

Yes. The dedicated USB-C port delivers up to 100W when used on its own, enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro or an ultrabook at full speed on the road.

The 130W sits between the two: more powerful and better equipped than the 63W (2 ports, no cable included), but without the 145W's built-in retractable cable. It does, however, ship with a detachable 100W cable in the box.

Yes. It plugs into any standard 12V or 24V cigarette-lighter socket, found on nearly every car, van, and RV.
