Hanne Lindberg, HR, Accounting & DPO

Hanne Lindberg is the most senior member of the team and, for now, the only woman in the house. With the company since the very beginning in 2011, she is something of its memory and its point of balance. You will not come across her in the product tests, but nothing would keep running for long without her: human resources, accounting and administration rest on her shoulders, with a quiet rigor and a gift for listening that the whole team recognizes.

A Swede settled in France for some fifteen years, Hanne has brought Best Batteries a very Nordic work culture: transparency, a genuine concern for everyday well-being and a strong team spirit. She is also the one who, as data protection officer (DPO), ensures GDPR compliance and the proper handling of personal information, a quiet but essential watchdog role as the site expanded across five European markets.

Her background and her seniority make her a trusted go-to, the person you turn to as much for a question about a contract as for a low moment. A literature lover, she devours Scandinavian authors and French classics alike, a mental workout that is surely not unrelated to her excellent command of the language.

For while Hanne speaks French very well, she still sometimes mixes up two similar words, with a famously beloved in-house fondness for confusing "sourire" (smile) and "souris" (mouse). Far from embarrassing her, these little slips have become a kind of affectionate ritual in the company, and a reminder that good humor is also one of the values she embodies.
