One option rarely seen on this format makes up part of the gap: a dedicated input for a vehicle alternator charger, good for up to 400 W while driving, on top of the standard cigarette-lighter socket capped at 120 W. That is a genuine perk for van life or road-trip use, where most direct rivals only offer basic 12 V charging.
Noise: quiet at rest, a lot less so under fast charging

One real, if minor, flaw involves the charge gauge: its accuracy slips below 20%, with the displayed percentage sometimes sitting still for a while before dropping several points all at once under a sudden load. That is purely a software quirk, it does not touch the actual capacity on tap, but it can throw off any read on how close you are to a shutdown.

The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 and the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 follow a similar pattern: more power on tap, at the cost of extra weight and a shorter claimed battery lifespan.
The choice among these comes down less to a flat ranking than to what you actually need: the S2000 fully delivers on its promise for the loads it is sized for, without trying to out-muscle stations that weigh 4.4 to 17.6 lb (2 to 8 kg) more.
Who the S2000 is for, and who should look elsewhere
The Solix S2000 is a strong fit for anyone who wants backup power for a household's core needs during an outage: fridge, router, lighting, electronics, and phone charging. Its sub-6 W standby also makes it a solid pick for protecting a work-from-home setup against brief power blips, or for giving a medical device like a CPAP a comfortable runtime cushion, as long as you keep in mind it is not a certified medical device. Its manageable weight and compact footprint also make it a decent fit for occasional camping or weekend trips, especially given its vehicle-alternator charging option.
It is a worse fit for anyone needing to run heavy or high-inrush appliances, like an air conditioner, a serious space heater, or corded power tools: the 1,500 W continuous ceiling, and especially its sensitivity to startup surges, will limit those uses fast. It is just as poor a match for anyone planning a serious solar setup: the 400 W input ceiling caps any real expansion. And it is worth a beat for anyone who splits time between the US and a 230 V country: the S2000 has no export version yet, so running it there means sourcing an actual voltage transformer, not just a plug adapter.
