EcoFlow has separately issued a voluntary recall on an entirely different product in its range, a portable power station, over an overheating risk fixed through a firmware update: that recall covers a completely different category of device, with no technical link to this magnetic power bank, but it is part of the brand's verifiable track record and worth knowing about.
It went on sale in the United States first, before reaching other markets, including France, some months later. In Japan, it followed the more modest 5,000 mAh version of the same range by several months, that smaller model having gone on sale first in that particular market.
Box contents stay minimal: beyond the unit itself and its built-in cable, only a warranty document ships in the box, with no printed user guide and no explanation of how the screen or the app work. It also suits less anyone who prioritizes a slim, light case in a pocket: at 9.1 to 9.7 oz (258 to 275 g) and 0.9 in (22.9 mm) thick, it is one of the bulkiest magnetic power banks in its category.
