Detailed overview: Ugreen 63W USB-C car charger
The Ugreen 63W car charger is a cigarette-lighter adapter designed for modern fast charging. Where the original car charger is often limited to a single low-power USB-A port, this one turns the vehicle's 12V socket into a genuine two-port charging station, able to power demanding devices quickly.
Its main asset is its USB-C port, which delivers up to 45W Power Delivery (with PPS and Quick Charge). That is enough to charge at full speed a recent Android smartphone or iPhone, a tablet, a pair of earbuds, a controller, but also a light USB-C laptop, a real plus for working or navigating on the move. The second port, a USB-A, goes up to 30W (Quick Charge 3.0) to power a second device, for example the passenger's phone. The 63W total power lets you use both ports at once without collapsing.
On the design side, the compact aluminium body dissipates heat well and includes protections against surges, overheating and short circuits. A discreet light ring makes it easier to find and plug in the dark. Ugreen, a brand known for reliable charging accessories, offers here a carefully executed product.
Its only real constraint is that of any fast charger: to enjoy the 45W over USB-C, you must use a quality Power Delivery-compatible USB-C cable, otherwise charging is throttled. For anyone who spends time in the car and wants to keep their devices, including a laptop, charged and ready, this Ugreen 63W charger is an excellent travel companion.

Our tester's review: Christophe Delpuech
On long trips, a good car charger changes everything, and this one really does the job. The 45W of the USB-C port charge the phone at full speed, and we were even able to keep a small USB-C laptop charging while it was running, which a basic car charger cannot do. The second USB-A port tops up the passenger's phone or a tablet at the same time. The aluminium body stays warm and well finished, it does not wobble in the socket, and the discreet light ring helps spot it at night. In everyday use, it is a safe choice. The only thing to know: to draw the 45W over USB-C, you need a good Power Delivery-compatible USB-C cable, which should not be overlooked.
