What the SDMO offers in exchange does not show up in a table: a Kohler engine with a genuine professional reputation, four-stage air filtration, a three-year warranty and a maintenance kit cataloged for this exact model. It is a trade-off between purchase cost and cost of ownership, one that tips towards the SDMO as soon as the machine sees regular use.
