The Steca Solsum 0606 is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) solar charge controller from the German manufacturer Steca (now part of the Kontron/Katek group), positioned at the entry level. Despite its budget positioning, the Solsum 0606 carries a full list of electronic protections: overcharge, deep discharge, reverse polarity (module, load, and battery), automatic electronic fuse, short circuit, input overvoltage, nighttime reverse current protection, and disconnection on battery overvoltage.
