Detailed overview: Bluetti PV60 60W foldable ultralight solar panel
The Bluetti PV60 is a 60 W portable solar panel designed for those who put lightness and compactness above all. Hikers, cyclists, backpacking campers or bivouac enthusiasts: it is aimed at anyone who wants a genuinely portable solar energy source to keep their small devices charged far from any socket.
Its main asset is its featherweight 1.4 kg. Folded, it takes on a compact format that slips into a backpack, straps onto a bike or stows in a tent without getting in the way. Deployment is immediate and the panel is easy to set down or hang to catch the sun.
Despite its small size, it does not skimp on quality: its monocrystalline cells reach a conversion efficiency of up to 24.7%, a very good figure for a portable panel. The ETFE coating, durable and scratch-resistant, protects the surface, while the IP65 rating lets it withstand dust and splashes, useful in case of dew or a short shower.
In use, the PV60 is meant for top-ups: it ideally recharges a phone, a tablet, a power bank or a small Bluetti power station such as the AC50P, AC180P or Premium 30 V2, with which it forms a light solar kit. Keep in mind that a 60 W panel delivers modest power: it is perfect for keeping devices charged through the day, but not for quickly filling a large battery.
Light, rugged and effective for its size, the Bluetti PV60 60W is the ideal solar companion for outings where every gram counts, from hiking to bikepacking.

Our tester's review: Julien De Jurquet
The PV60 plays the lightness card and plays it well: at 1.4 kg, you take it without a second thought, folded in the backpack or strapped to a bike. Deployed, it is plenty to keep a phone, a power bank or a small station charged during a bivouac or a long day outdoors. The ETFE coating and finish inspire confidence for a panel this size, and the IP65 rating is reassuring in case of morning dew or a short shower. You do need realistic expectations, though: 60 W is meant for portable top-ups, not for recharging a big station in a few hours, and like any small panel, it is very sensitive to orientation and shadows, output drops as soon as a cloud passes or a branch casts its shade. Well oriented in full sun, it nonetheless keeps its promises. For the hiker, cyclist or camper looking for genuinely portable solar for their small devices, it is a discreet and effective companion.
