Founded in autumn 2022 in Shenzhen (Shenzhen Qichang Intelligent Technology), Fossibot made its name with the F2400, a 2048Wh station that recharges in 1.5 hours. The brand uses EVE Energy cells, a well-regarded supplier already used by several rivals, and takes a clearly price-led stance: the essentials of what Jackery, EcoFlow or Bluetti offer (capacity, power, LiFePO4), without the most premium features, at a tighter price. The catalogue goes beyond the station itself, with a fast car charger, a folding panel and a plug-and-play balcony battery. A still-young brand whose long-term reliability remains to be proven.

In-depth reviewRead our full review → 4.2/5 We ran the Fossibot F1200 for several weeks, between the garden, a van trip and an improvised power cut. First impression: it charges fast, really fast. Going from 0 to 80% in under an hour on a simple wall socket is a game changer when you leave at the last minute. The UPS function proved itself during a brief outage: the router and laptop did not even blink. We also appreciated the deliberate simplicity: no app to install, no account to create, everything reads straight off the LCD screen. The main downside is the solar input, capped at 200W, a bit limited if you rely heavily on the sun for full autonomy, and there is no way to expand capacity if your needs grow. For the price, well below the big brands with comparable specs, it is a very pleasant surprise.

The Fossibot SP200 is a foldable 200W portable solar panel with monocrystalline cells and a high 23.4% conversion efficiency. Coated in ETFE and rated IP67, it adjusts to 4 tilt angles (35°, 40°, 45° or 50°) thanks to its built-in kickstands. Supplied with an MC4 cable and a multi-tip cable (Anderson, XT60, XT90, DC5521), it works with nearly every power station on the market, including the whole Fossibot range (F800, F1200, F2400, F3600, F3600 Pro, FB3840).
We took the SP200 out on several trips, propped against a van or laid flat on the ground, and it mostly lives up to expectations. Well aimed in good sunlight, output tops out around 140 to 150W, enough to top up an F800 or an F2400 fairly quickly. The 4 adjustable kickstands make it easy to chase the sun through the day, and the ETFE coating paired with IP67 sealing means a surprise shower is not a problem. The folding format and carry handle make it genuinely easy to move around despite the roughly 8kg weight. Two honest gripes echoed by many owners: real-world output more often sits around 120 to 140W once the sky is even slightly hazy, especially in winter, and the supplied MC4 cable is on the short side, so a longer one is worth having if the station stays sheltered. The bundled multi-tip cable is a genuine plus, though, sparing you a separate adapter purchase. For charging a Fossibot station in the sun without overspending, the SP200 remains a sound, well-built choice.

In-depth reviewRead our full review → 4.2/5 The Fossibot F2400 is the value surprise in the 2 kWh category. On paper and in use, it rivals far more expensive stations: its 2400W ran a fridge, a kettle and tools without flinching, and its 2048Wh cover solid autonomy. We especially liked the UPS function, which switches over in under 10 ms during an outage, fast enough not to reboot a computer, along with the full recharge in two hours. Connectivity is generous with 13 ports, including a real 100W USB-C and a 25 A 12 V output its direct rivals do not offer. The downsides are typical of a lesser-known brand: after-sales support and accessory availability are less developed than with the leaders, and the green look will not please everyone. But for the budget, it is one of the best deals around.

We ran the Fossibot F1800 for several weeks, between the garden, a van trip and a simulated power cut. First impression when unboxing it next to our F1200: same footprint, but 600W more power, more than enough to start our kettle and induction hob without a hitch. The WiFi/Bluetooth app is a real step up from the F1200: we could monitor charging from the sofa, and ECO mode visibly cut our standby draw. The 45-minute recharge to 80% on mains power holds up, and UPS mode took over without a single hiccup during a simulated outage on our router. The only downside: the fan gets a bit noisy under heavy load, and the external battery extension requires wiring your own cable. For a station that keeps the F1200's compact footprint while gaining power, connectivity and a longer warranty (5 years), it is an upgrade that makes sense.

What strikes you first is the power: with 3600W continuous (and a 7200W surge), it handles an induction hob, a space heater, a kettle or power tools without flinching, where 2000W stations stall. Its 3840Wh reserve lasts a good day for a fridge plus a few devices, and above all, you can add batteries to climb to 11520Wh, enough for real multi-day backup power. LiFePO4 technology reassures on lifespan (4000+ cycles) and safety. In use, the ultra-fast charging is a real comfort: you fill up in a handful of hours from the mains. The UPS mode switches over fast enough to protect a computer or a router during an outage, and the app lets you monitor and adjust the station remotely. The wheels and handle are welcome given the substantial weight. The only small caveats: it stays heavy and bulky (the price of capacity), and the fan is audible under heavy load. But for anyone after a powerful, expandable and durable station, the F3600 Pro is excellent value.

In-depth reviewRead our full review → 3.5/5 The FBP1200 quickly found its place on our test balcony: two handles, a several-metre cable in the box and a wall socket are all it takes to get it running, no lengthy manual required. The display stays readable in bright sunlight, and the cooling fins stayed barely warm even after several hours of charging in hot weather. The backup mode impresses with its speed: the 1 ms switchover doesn't faze any sensitive device, but its exact electrical operation (dedicated outlet or full islanding) remains poorly documented by the manufacturer. The app, meanwhile, takes a bit of patience: the three modes on offer (green plan, custom, smart plug) become genuinely useful once you've got the hang of them, but the interface still has a few rough edges, and the $1057.47 in yearly savings promised by the built-in AI doesn't line up with the manufacturer's own calculation figures. Another real limitation: with 800 W fed into the grid and 1200 W off-grid, the battery struggles with the hungriest appliances; an electric kettle stalled it during our tests. For a fridge, a router, lighting or charging devices, though, it delivers without a hitch. There's still the Consuel question for this category pairing a battery with an inverter, not settled uniformly in France, and a track record that's still very limited (only six customer reviews, none from a French buyer), which calls for caution over the long run. A young, promising product on paper, best reserved for those who accept these documented reservations.

The Fossibot FAC580 alternator charger is a DC-DC charger that taps the alternator's current while driving to charge a power station at up to 580W, roughly 6 times faster than a standard 12V outlet. Built for the whole Fossibot lineup and stated to work with most third-party power stations (45 to 48V input), it offers two charging modes, engine running or off, a 92% efficiency rating, and thorough electrical protection. Compact at 0.8 kg, it mounts straight onto the vehicle body.
On the road, the FAC580 genuinely lives up to its promise: wired to the starting battery, it charged our station at around 200W with the engine just idling, and considerably more once actually driving. Installation is straightforward, though the 16-foot input cable is a bit bulky to route neatly through the engine bay. The real strong point is the stated compatibility with almost every third-party power station, not just the Fossibot lineup, which is handy if you already own a station from another brand. The cooling does its job well, with no overheating noticed even on a long summer drive. One gripe raised by several buyers: the unit has no built-in fuse on the input cable, so you really do need to add one near the battery yourself, as the manual itself recommends. For its very reasonable price against the competition, the FAC580 remains an excellent deal for anyone who drives a lot.

We set up the SP400 Pro on a temporary job site, propped against a light concrete wall, the perfect terrain to judge the bifacial gain. The difference shows most in early morning and late afternoon, when the sun sits low and the rear panel picks up a real bonus from ground reflection. The first thing that stands out is the weight: at 9kg, it carries and unfolds with barely any effort, well below the 13 to 16kg solar cases common in this segment. The aluminium frame feels reassuring, and the bypass diodes did their job without a hiccup the day a branch cast partial shade over one panel. Two honest caveats: the included 1.5m MC4-to-XT60 cable is on the short side if the station stays sheltered, and like any bifacial panel, the real gain depends heavily on what is underneath it, on grass or dark soil the difference against a regular panel stays marginal. For anyone after a light, sturdy 400W panel that outperforms average, the SP400 Pro earns its place.
